Fashion writer Louis Pisano has apologized for posting the now-viral tweet about A$AP Rocky cheating on Rihanna.
The tweet took social media by storm, with sources close to the couple set to refute and condemn the rumour, and now Pisano – who uses the pronouns them/them – has apologized for causing “unnecessary drama”.

The “unnecessary drama” began with Pisano tweet since deleted who claimed: “Rihanna and ASAP Rocky have separated. Rihanna broke up with him after catching him cheating with shoe designer Amina Muaddi.
“ASAP & Amina is not new as she saw him years ago and also collaborated with him on a shoe collection,” they added.
Of course, that tweet went viral, with multiple outlets reporting on the iconic couple’s supposed breakup.
The media storm has grown so intense that Muaddi, who has long been friends with the couple and has collaborated with Rihanna on her Fenty brand, was forced to speak out.
Muaddi said in an Instagram story: “I have always believed that an unfounded lie spread on social media deserves no response or clarification, especially one that is so vile. I first assumed that this false gossip – made with such malicious intent – would not be taken seriously.
“Therefore, I have to speak because it is not only about me, but also about people for whom I have a lot of respect and affection.
“As Rih continues to live her serene, better-dressed pregnancy life and I get back to my business, I wish everyone a lovely Easter weekend.”
Following Muaddi’s post, Pisano took to Twitter to comment on the unfolding rumor.
“Hi everyone, so I would like to address the situation. Last night I made the stupid decision to tweet some information I had received.”
“I’m not going to talk about sources, blame others for a discussion that’s been started, etc. because ultimately I made the decision to write this tweet, hit send, and post it. with my name on it. So I would like to formally apologize to all parties involved in my reckless actions and tweets.
“I fully accept the consequences of my actions on my tweets and any harm they have caused,” they continued.
“I have no excuse for this, I’ve been way too engrossed in the Twitter drama and unfortunately tend to be messy as a brand, which I’m going to steer clear of in the future.”
The fashion writer then said they would take some time off on Twitter, adding, “Once again, I apologize to them for the unnecessary drama.”
So there you have it, Rihanna and A$AP seem very well together and are expecting their first child, as announced at the end of January this year.
