A STOURBRIDGE business has received a boost from Dragons’ Den star Theo Paphitis.
Sarah Mullaney, owner of She’s a Writer, received a ‘Small Business Sunday’ certificate at Theo’s annual winners event on Friday (February 25) at the ICC in Birmingham.
In January, Sarah tweeted Theo about his freelance writing and content marketing business during #SBS and was one of six weekly winners to retweet to nearly half a million followers on Twitter.
She’s a Writer, which is featured on the #SBS website theopaphitissbs.com, helps businesses communicate better with their target audience through freelance writing and content marketing services, including website writing, blogging , articles and social media marketing.
Sarah, 25, said: “I’m still in the early days of my business and I usually work from my bedroom or in local cafes. It’s amazing to receive Theo’s recognition and bring She’s a Writer to his followers.
“It’s great to be able to raise the profile of writers like me who help companies make more meaningful connections with their target audience.”
Ryman Stationery, Robert Dyas and Boux Avenue Chairman Theo Paphitis said: “We are delighted to welcome new #SBS members every week and to highlight how important it is to support our small businesses in the UK .
“My vision is for everyone who has earned a #SBS re-tweet from me to become members of a friendly club; like-minded people who can share their successes and learnings. The website will also provide a valuable profile to the winners and I wish her to be an all successful writer.”
Anyone looking to re-tweet Theo should tweet him about his business on Sundays between 5-7:30 p.m. using the hashtag #SBS.
Six lucky companies are retweeted every Monday at 8 p.m. and invited to enter their profile on the website and participate in an annual networking event.
