She-Hulk Head Writer Clarifies Spider-Man Comments

She-Hulk: Lawyer never came close to landing Spider Man cameo.

The new green-hued MCU show on Disney+ features a carousel of special guest stars, including Charlie Cox’s Daredevil and Tim Roth’s Abomination, but according to editor Jessica Gao, the rumors surrounding the teenage crawler are completely untrue .

“In fact, the Disney+ series had no design on the webslinger itself, which of course is tangled up in this Sony/Marvel gray area – we knew of course Spider-Man was banned,” she said. TVLine

“We thought maybe some of the other characters in Spider Man maybe fun to fit into our world, but we were told pretty early on it was impossible, so we didn’t really go too far down the road.

“We just had a few Spider Man supernerds in our room who dare to dream!” she explained.

Happy Hogan? Ned Leeds? MJ? We will never know, unfortunately.

Somewhere else, She-HulkJameela Jamil of recalled suffering a rather NSFW injury on set while playing Titania.

“Oh, I did it all! I did it all,” she said of the necessary stunts for her part. “I was hurting in a place that I really didn’t know existed. Like, you’ll probably have to beep this, but I pulled a muscle in my asshole. I didn’t know it was possible !

“I don’t know how many things get on the big screen, because CGI is crazy. But I have to do almost all my stunts myself! And that’s something I’ve never done before, because I I’m the ultimate couch potato. I’m just a puddle with bangs.”
