Legendary soothsayer Nostradamus thought there would be a terrifying war next year, which many interpreted as an escalation of conflict in Ukraine.
In his widely read book The Prophecies released over 450 years ago, the Frenchman made thousands of predictions for the future and is credited with predicting the rise of Hitler, the shooting of JFK and the 9/11 attacks.
The Daily Star reports that the weather did little to dull its prophecies as it predicted a host of calamities for 2022 including an asteroid strike, inflation and famine and AI robots taking over. land control.

Fortunately, three months into the year and his predictions have yet to come to fruition – although he did suggest the worst is yet to come next year.
In his writings, Nostradamus writes: ‘Seven months of the Great War, people dead of misdeeds.
“Rouen, Evreux will not fall to the king.
This could be seen as an allusion to a larger WWIII conflict resulting from the unrest in Ukraine that will erupt next year.
The seven-month timeline of the conflict may initially seem cause for celebration, but with the terrifying nuclear arsenals of countries like America and Russia, it is perhaps best to err on the side of caution.
In this case though, it looks like the French city of Rouen will at least be safe, even though Paris would likely be decimated.

Nostradamus also alludes to a “heavenly fire on the Royal Building”, but that’s a bit more sinister than a fire at Harry and Meghan’s.
Throughout the Bible, the apocalypse or “end times” has always referred to fire as a key factor in the end of the world.
It is suggested that from the ashes of civilization will emerge a new world order.
Although what it will look like is anyone’s guess!
Mars out of reach
Cryptically, Nostradamus also referred to the “failing light on mars”.
While this could be explained by the planet entering retrograde motion and appearing to retreat across the sky, it could also refer to humanity’s efforts to colonize the planet.
SpaceX founder and Tesla CEO Elon Musk has long suggested that humans will land on Mars by 2029.
The world’s richest man has long made it clear that he wants to colonize the Red Planet and said exploration and landing on Mars could be achieved by the end of the decade.
Perhaps the events of 2023 will make him rethink his prediction?
