‘New Girl’ from a writer’s perspective

Actors usually receive the most recognition for a movie or TV show, but there’s always a dedicated team of writers working behind the scenes to create the stories and characters on screen.

“I noticed when you left the show our ratings kept going down,” Morris said.

“When you came back, we welcomed you with open arms,” ​​Deschanel said. “We needed more Luvh.”

Rakeh is credited with writing 13 episodes of new girl and producing over 100. Over the show’s eight seasons, he would occasionally step in to write and produce for another acclaimed comedy, Philadelphia is always sunny.
