Doctor Strange writer Jon Spaihts praises RRR on Twitter

The movie of SS Rajamouli RRR impressed audiences in India and abroad. Especially after the film was released on Netflix, the West also had a chance to experience cinema. And even after so many days after its release, people haven’t stopped praising it.

Recently Jon Spaihts who wrote projects like Passengers, Dune and strange doctor, took to his Twitter and wrote how much he loved the movie. He tweeted that even though he watched the movie a few days ago, he couldn’t stop thinking about it even a few days later.

In June, The Vampire Diaries Actor Joseph Morgan and Persia White also praised the film. He tweeted that he and his wife took some time off filming and that’s when they watched an amazing movie. They were both amazed by the performances. They laughed, cried and gasped in astonishment. The team of RRR acknowledged their tweet and tweeted back.

With a budget of around Rs 550 crores, the film grossed over Rs 1200 crores worldwide. The story of the film is set in the pre-independence era, around 1920s. It shows the lives of two popular revolutionaries and real-life heroes – Alluri Sitaraman Raju and Komaram Bheem. Rajamouli during his research came across two distinct stories of these revolutionaries. He could connect the two stories in his mind, then later conceptualize the idea of ​​what would have happened if the two were friends?

Even though the movie was announced in 2018, it ended in 2021 due to the pandemic. The film was shot in various parts of India, Ukraine and Bulgaria. On its release day, it broke the record for the highest opening day earnings for an Indian film. It also broke Baahubali 2 record numbers and also became the most profitable in its home market.
