To justify abortion, blue-checked comedy writer Alex Falcone tried to accuse the right of lying about the importance it places on fetuses. Her testimony was an assertion that no one has a “funeral” for miscarriages, nor talks about being “reunited with their fetus in heaven.”

Falcone was quickly chastised by pro-lifers on Twitter after posting.

Alex Falcone decided to expose his theory on Wednesday evening. “It’s a change of tone for me here, but I don’t think anyone really believes fetuses are people,” he tweeted, then accused people doing it of “lying.”

“I think they’re lying. There are almost a million miscarriages every year in America, it happens to almost everyone. But we’re not constantly invited to funerals,” he surmised.

He then introduced God there by writing: “No one who says that a fetus is a life that [G]od wanted to bring forth discussions about how a million times a year he just changes his mind.”

He went on to say that “no one is passing laws to reduce miscarriage, they are not having rallies, and Judge Alito has donated ZERO DOLLARS of his $4 million net worth for research on the aneuploidy, which causes 60%”.

He then made another radical assumption about people who have had miscarriages in the past. “We rarely talk about miscarriages, even though they happen to just about everyone you know. They are devastating, but not because of souls. heaven because they don’t really believe that.”

“This is disgustingly insensitive,” Ron DeSantis spokeswoman Christina Pushaw tweeted.

GOP flack Matt Whitlock blasted Falcone, tweeting, “This is such a dumb take. I hope someone in your life who’s had a miscarriage (or has a soul) tunes in and tells you to delete your account.”

LiveAction founder Lila Rose added, “It’s a next-level pro-choice explanation. Minimize the pain of a miscarriage to defend the killing of babies.”

Author Helen Raleigh wrote, “Have you ever had the equivalent [sic] from abortions to miscarriages. Women, myself included, who have had miscarriages want our children. We have never done anything to cause miscarriages. We miss our children every day. The faith that I will see my children again is what keeps me going.”

“During mass for the first child we lost to miscarriage, several strangers came to the side chapel happy to join in a mass,” tweeted Catholic author Leah Libresco Sargeant. She added: “I was grateful that Robin was the cause of their receiving the Eucharist that day. A small way for a very small baby to leave a mark.”

Conservative podcast host Allie Beth Stuckey tweeted: “What an absolutely silly heartless take. Miscarriages are deeply mourned, even those that occur at 5 weeks. These babies very often ARE given away at ceremonies and funerals .You are an awful human.”

Former Daily Wire contributor Eilsha Krauss tweeted: “Every woman I’ve met who’s had a miscarriage (1 in 4 for that matter) cries the day their baby would be born, names them, and many had services for them. It’s a major mental and emotional struggle that you’re obviously not aware of.”
